I killed him cause lets face it, shit is going to hit the fan no matter what. Barging aint going to do crap to stop it so might as well get my season 6 rick on for this.
I liked the story much better this episode. Episode 1 didn't work for me because I was not attached to any character, this episode left us with the core which made it better I think.
I was surprised (or atleast I hoped) that we could atleast get an option to kill Nora when she was laying on the ground in the boat.
I didn't like the part at the gate either, I just knew he would get shot, it's getting too predictable in The Walking Dead show and games.
One thing I was also very dissapointed with was the episode length. I always take my time in this kind of game, but I still managed to finish the first one in 90 minutes. I expected atleast two hours out of this episode, like most Telltale games. I somehow managed to finish this one even faster, in 65 minutes.
I was happy when they announced monthly releases (which I'm pretty sure they're aiming for with future series), but if that means episodes this short I'd rather wait longer.
So, do we see who's in the hallway if we check it out? Because I picked up the phone.
Also, did anyone else know that John was going to be killed the moment he wouldn't shut the door?

Actually, I think it's implied that Monroe is still in mostly one piece. Norma comes on over the walkie-talkie, and says if Randall doesn't … morereport that that she'll send everything, which would imply she still has a sizable amount of people to spare.
We didn't technically see the place burn down, the most we saw were boats on fire. It isn't as clear-cut and done as Howe's was. They could have gotten everyone out of the burning boats and dealt with the fires, some of the boats could have taken off, who knows.
Also, on another note, a fair amount of the boats making up Monroe were shipwrecked, and it appears that most of the wrecked ones were the ones on fire. Obviously, no one in their right minds would be living in the wrecked ships. And even furthermore, you can both hear and see boats leaving, although it's not easy to make out in the videos. I imagine the extent of the damage will be easier to see when we can play on a nice big screen tomorrow.
Because he said he was going to kill everyone, including the children, and I know that he meant it. Also, like he said, we're fucked either way, but with him gone, there is one less guy on their side, and it was a really tough guy too.
The episode was good. But I agree that it was short. I find the finally scene with Randall much like the St. John's. Baiting you to try and … morekill him, I left him there because I wouldn't want to give him what he wants plus I'm surprised that the more people Chose to kill him . Why give him what he wants ?
I had the feeling he was going to die in the back of my head as soon as they both went outside, but I was getting so engrossed in the scene with him that it ended up slipping my mind.
So I had low-key expectations that he'd get killed, but I still wasn't expecting half of his damn face to just explode right in front of me
So, do we see who's in the hallway if we check it out? Because I picked up the phone.

I'm borderline freaking out right now. Did Randall kill Alex with the wrench beforehand, or did I just misunderstand that whole scene right now? That'd change my whole perception of him.
I am still really, really pissed that Michonne and Co. burned down an entire community of innocent, helpless and confused people, even if it… more wasn't intentional. We see that only a few made it to the shore: Randall, Norma, Gabby, Cam and a few others, meaning that Zackary, Jonas and everyone else burned to death or drowned, unless some managed to regroup the ships somewhere else. I haven't accepted that as canon yet, even though I know it is.
The town Norma had going was really nice, with fucking Christmas lights connecting the boats. Think of how many hours were spent hanging them around, possibly children! Michonne killed those children, their families, everyone! So Randall went down there and tried to give those murderers justice, but he couldn't make sure they'd never kill again.
I wish there was a choice to side a bit with Norma. Like Sam said, Norma gave her a second chance and let her walk away, but she stole from her again, meaning Norma is justified in taking action. She really is just trying to keep her community safe. Still Randall is an asshole and the source of her supplies are still a mystery, meaning they could have been stolen to begin with.

You are joking, right? As far as we've seen, the people at Monroe were cooperative and mindful of one another e.g. they quickly warned everyone else about fire spreading instead of taking off. They are not all evil people just because the leader's brother took us hostage because of a misunderstanding. You can even hear a woman warning that everyone should take cover and that we are dangerous people. They saw us as a threat, and they were not wrong. We burned their entire homeplace down, or at least a part of it.
That's why I am upset, although all of it will go away if we learn that Monroe is still on foot and that only a small part burned down.

Your joking right? Most of those people were not innocent. Very few people in the walking dead universe are.
It brought back some good memories of In Harm's Way, didn't it? I liked that entire sequence, especially the cinematography of it (seeing the reflection off the scope in the distance, how they lead you into thinking its going to be the average action scene and bam, zombie gets shot)
Actually on that note, the cinematography and camera work in this episode was especially good. Let's get some more people talking about that.

It might be worth noting in regards to this, but a lot of new people at Telltale are working on Michonne. I remember Eric Stirpe tweeting that In Too Deep was the first release for a lot of the team working on it.
Just saying, it might explain/justify some of the differences seen in the series so far. For comparison, Tales basically had Telltale's A-team working on it. Like, practically all of the people that worked on TWD S1 had a hand in Tales.

Yeah, he's always going to live since he's in the comics.
I killed him cause lets face it, shit is going to hit the fan no matter what. Barging aint going to do crap to stop it so might as well get my season 6 rick on for this.
Chonnes done worse than Rick though

it's a woman holding a baby in her arms.
I had a strong feeling, it was nerve wracking.
Like really.. she lies to you, admits that she stole from Norma, giving Norma every reason to act the way she did.
Randall... I'm trying not to kill you... WHY ARE YOU MAKING IT SO FUCKING HARD?
Who was on the phone?
This lady, Donna, who apparently Dominic was going to bring Michonne's daughters to.
Exactly my point. If it had been longer and and more emphasis and elaboration given to the characters and story it would be great.
And then she got the eatens!
Here's a picture if that helps.

Was the dude who said "Randall i found them" tower dude or the other guy?

The description for this series is "Michonne dealing with her inner demons", I suppose we aren't the good guys in this scenario...
What did you guys think of the sniper scene?
I didn't like it. It felt too rushed and I didn't care for the guy. In fact I didn't even bother to learn his name.
Edit: Never mind I guess we're talking about two different things.
I'm sorry but sometimes the dialogue reminded me of bad fan fiction.

Wait...What sniper scene?
No but he was gonna
Maybe it's not in your playthrough? It happens immediately after the group makes it to the shore.

Yeahh...same too. For the face part at least...
Where they are getting shot at? I thought it was cool but I was surprised that they had Michonne do her good ol' pet walker move.
It was while that was happening. So yeah, under fire while making pet walkers.

Dude this was the fastest zombie reanimation holy fuck
I sure did
it brightened up my day--oh god why are we doing this
Just like Rick, Michonne kills whoever she considers a threat.
That doesn't necessarily make them innocent, good people.
Never said that they were evil, just not all were innocent, non-dangerous people.
So?
"Meaning that Zackary..."
What do you mean? Zack took a bullet to the head
I believe his point was that saying anyone is innocent is jumping to conclusions. For all we know that dad of 4 kids also murdered 20 people.
He didn't reanimate. He was still alive. I think they just used the wrong eyes on his model or something.
