So I'm commenting this as I'm playing it. I'm pissed that Michonne slaughtered a ton of innocent people, but so far between the cow-catcher and the amazing animation, I'm really loving this episode. Much better than Episode 1 so far.
So I like this episode more than Episode. But I do wish that it was longer such as allowing Michonne to explore the house. I feel that Sam's father's death was a missed opportunity. Since the mini-series is three episodes long, they could have easily made him determinant and keep him alive.
As for Sam. I don't know about you guys, despite her flaws, I find myself attached to her. I guess it is because I find her game model attractive.

Overall I think it was a good episode.
His going to die regardless in the last episode anyways but the meaning is that he wants you to kill him. You kill him you give him what he wants, and you come off as the weaker person for giving into what he is implying you are. At least when you walk away, you show him you're the bigger person. I chose pete to stay with me so I don't need to worry but if you let pete go. They will use him as a bargaining chip, you can use Randall as one too and plus, he is incapacitated to the file Machine so explain to me how he can get free ?
Not really. You heard what he said: if we kill him, Norma is going after us. If we don't, he'll do even worse. That are his own words. I don… more't care if I 'did what he wanted me to do'. The dude had to die, he would have massacred us as soon as he was set free, just like he very likely massacred the people on the ferry. He even described in detail how children's skulls 'melt' instead of being simply crushed. Like wtf, comic Michonne has dropped people for less than that.
If they have Pete, then it makes sense to keep him as a bargaining chip. Otherwise, kill him now before he gets free and fucks shit up again (seriously, that guy was a tank). Knowing Telltale, the fight with the Monroe people happens anyway.
The way Randall talked about killing the kids is when I started wanting to drive that wrench into his face. But as soon as he started talking shit about Michonne's daughters in particular... yeah, that sealed the deal for me.
Good point. But is there any need to kill them in a town fire? They may not have been innocent, but I'm fairly sure that 60% of the town wouldn't go after an insane woman with a machete/sword for Norma's own agenda.
Bloody hell John's such an idiot. If you leave a gap as large as the one between Kim K's legs for about 25 hours you should expect to get your face blown off. Couldn't the dumb twat have just thrown the hand over the fence anyway?
Absolutely loved the 2nd episode. Way better than the first.
I know people go on about this all the time, but knowing that both Michonne and Pete survive at the end of the series really makes choices easier for me. I know that no matter what Norma is going to attack and no matter what both the main characters we're dealing with will survive. Therefore I never hesitate to miss out on any choices that may "risk" Pete's life because we get out of it without a scratch.
I killed Randall because he'd only hurt more people, regardless of the cliche "my dad abused me" that followed his character. As soon as he mentioned killing the kids and started talking about Michonne's daughters, that done it for me. I was convinced at first that I could use Randall as a hostage, but keeping him alive wasn't worth it. I'd risk other people dying if it meant half his head was missing. I tried being nice to Norma in the first episode and saying what she wanted to hear, but as soon as I heard her sending threats over the radio I wasn't afraid of her anymore and I knew that she isn't gonna touch me.
As for the final episode of this miniseries, well... the majority of the episode seemed spoiled through the 'Next Time' for it. Shit is gonna go down regardless of Randall. The house is gonna burn, people are most likely gonna die. I feel like the majority of the story was covered in this second episode, despite not going back to our original boat with the original crew. We got out of Monroe, we got Sam back to her family, Randall is dealt with for the most part. Yeah Michonne is still suffering from the loss of her daughters and we don't know what's happened to the original crew, but I'm not as hyped for the finale.
You know, I thought about the scene where John gets shot, and I thought of something that might make that scene a bit better. Bear with me h… moreere:

Basically, it would be a way to provide a last bit of development to his character and prove he can fight/kill, while also acting as a double-subversion of the players' expectations. As soon as the gate opens, people start expecting something bad to happen, right? "This guy is so going to get killed," they're thinking. So you have a walker reach in and grab him, with confirms their expectations about something happening to him. But then he kills it. So the… [view original content]
Can't tempt me Randall/Telltale! Trying to get me to kill you. For shame."Kill me! I'm a total dick! There's a wrench, you're pissed, and I'm evil. Do it, do it do it." The game is begging you to do it, Randall is freaking suicidal. Unless... this was reverse phycology. Damn you TT!
O.k. so if Randall says he is willing to kill kids then I'm assuming that he was responsible for tying up and killing the people on the Ferry (considering there were kids there). And Norma was bull shitting about the bandit story. Whatcha think?

I've been thinking for a while now that they might set up a situation where it'd seem like we choose the fate of Pete. Then comic readers would obviously know he lives regardless, so they don't mind putting him in danger—the twist would be that said option of putting him at risk ends up getting a game-only character killed.

Could be, but damn him, he really wants to die. Saying all that just to show how evil he is. Can't really see what he gains from lying or telling the truth about killing kids. He's at Michonne's mercy.

As I understood it, Norma confirmed that Randall killed the people on the ferry. She also said that those people were scavengers who killed the previous residents of the ferry. That makes the most sense to me.

The whole episode I tried to imagine the differences of Michonne at the end of All Out War, and when she returns to Alexandria. So I've slow… morely been becoming more and more passive through my playthrough. So I left Randall alive.
And too bad for the guy that got the flare in the mouth. That was brutal!

How do we know they're all innocent?

Oh thank god I'm not alone
Now we can be called creeps together

Yeah, and I didn't want to make Sam upset since Randall kinda killed her dad. So RIP

I concede then. I really thought it was a bad ass moment ;( sorry for my foolishness!

I actually found that scene hilarious. I'm glad I picked that guy.

Yeah, people would also think... Damn could've used him in a fight.

Maybe Randall lied to her

yeah I think that's the most they could do, to kind of get that little bit of regret for those who know Pete lives.

Dang it Deltino stop having good ideas.
That's what I was thinking, throwing the hand over.... but the plot called for his death.
One of the reasons I killed him. He kinda admitted to the massacre, considering how he said he knows how its like to kill a kid.
Randall could have just told her that so she'd be ok with it
I'm sure you were "enamored" when Michonne was getting that bullet out.
In my game she said that she'll make the ferry incident look like a picnic. So they were definitely responsible
Jeeeeeez I wish I got that flair gun kill that's fucking brutal! I just ended up shooting him because he had the flair gun himself
I couldn't believe that happened! It was totally unexpected and gets a 10/10 for shock factor.
Nvm found it its cam
damn that's fucked up but you're right
I loved this episode. It's the best one so far. I killed and burned everything.
Really great Episode. A bit short but very good.
Who sounded the alarm randall or norma?
I liked the episode, It has a nice mix between action filled and calm scenes.
It is fun killing his ass tho
Gee, that's fucked up. Randall deserved that for killing John.
Whats worse is you can clearly see his skull too and you broke it lol
No shit. No wonder how much gore this game can have.
We need more.
More blood for the blood god!
I wanna do this in S3
