  • Once I saw John open the gate and leave it open I was like "fucking close it man", and in the spirit of cutting off speeches he got his face blown off.

I didn't kill anyone at Monroe, so I didn't get some of the cool scenes I saw in the trailer, but I really enjoyed the boat moving around, it was fun.

  • To everyone who says Telltale can't do horror games, I think that disturbing, spine chilling, dream sequence says plenty otherwise. Jesus I still have chills running down my spine.

  • Finished the episode, and I am going to vomit all over the place. Christ almighty that was disgusting to see... In the end I tightened the vice 3 times and killed him, and I kind of regretted it because that was disgusting. Telltale definitely got me emotional with this one, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't shocked by John's death. The episode had some kickass kills and was MILES better than the first episode. I'd give it a 10/10 since it is the second best Telltale Walking Dead episode I've ever seen, but the fact that it was only an hour kind of pissed me off. 9/10.

  • I finished it by the way.

[I'll post a joke here after you finish the episode; let me know please.]

  • I'm just curious if Michonne is going to meet up with Clementine anytime soon the suspense is killing me but it's well worth the wait also the killing sequence is outstandingly awesome had me jumping out of my seat a few times.

  • Randall got carvered lol anyone got a pic of his corpse?

  • Yeah I wish you had more control with the boat, at that sequence where he had the gate open I'm pretty much going to say everyone's going to say close the damn gate LOL I don't think he deserved to die but it makes a storyline more well worth waiting for episode 3

  • John was the one Denised, to be honest. It blew half of his face away out of nowhere.

I finished it by the way.

  • Sam's lack of emotions for her brother was kind of weird, 2 minutes after he was dead she was okay with it.

Thought keeping Randall alive might be better as might be able to convince Norma to stop and attack.

But I did enjoy torturing him haha. Go Michonne!

I'd say the gore is what really sold John's death and made it so shocking. Like, it's one thing for him to be shot out of nowhere, but literally blowing off half his fucking face? And the way he falls over makes it even worse in my opinion. It looks like he's still trying to move/walk before he falls.

  • God... what I wouldn't give to kill this guy without repercussions. Of course I'll need a bargaining chip to get out of this mess. -.-

I was saying "just throw the arm over the wall", when he got shot i felt really bad for Sam and her younger brothers as they had only just lost their other brother and the story about their mother was also sad.

The Michonne mini series is completely separate from season 2 so there is no chance of Michonne meeting Clementine.

Just because someone doesn't break down (or shut down) and start crying, doesn't mean they're "okay with it". They had to get out of Monroe. Once they got out of Monroe, there was the herd of walkers, then she got shot and then Randall came and killed her dad. I don't think she really had time to grieve properly.

To be fair, she didn't really have time to mourn. She had to escape Monroe, then escape through a herd and into the woods, then she gets shot... she just couldn't catch a break.

That final choice was one of the hardest Telltale decisions I have ever made. I ended up sparing him but I hit him a few times.

I was really sad that John (or Joe idk) died like that. I was really starting to like him.

One of my few problems with the episode was how Zachary and Jonas just disappeared. Oh well, at least Zachary didn't go the way of most determinant characters.

Also, that flare gun kill was worth the price of the episode alone.

  • Randall is another Carver. Born to do evil, nothing more. What was the reason that has started this bloody madness?

  • I wanted to kill him but I left Pete in Monroe so I couldn't. Thought it would probably be a bad idea to kill Norma's brother while she still has Pete.

Zachary asks if there's anything he can do to help after what he did, Jonas comes in and Zachary convinces him to help and they distract a guard for you, Sam says she's glad you stopped her from killing him after seeing their relationship and you can tell her that she has to know who's guilty and who isn't.

I actually really like Sam's family. Too bad it probably won't end well for them.

  • Thank you.

  • The episode was brutal as hell and I loved the scene where Michonne had an Hallucination in Sam's house, but I kinda didn't enjoy this episode as the first tbh.

  • This episode makes me regret ever teaming up with Sam.

  • On the other hand, John's death caught me madddddddddddd off guard. I was planning ahead and shit, and then John took a bullet to the face.

  • I feel like this whole episode just reinforced what I believed, where Norma, although fairly iron fisted in policy, was fair in the long run. So far anyways, it seems like Sam just stole from them multiple times, and was the biggest liar so far. I think Randall also lost his kids and basically lives as the extreme right hand of Norma, doing certain things he shouldn't do but for the good of the community. It's hard for me to say that they're the bad guys so far, because of how things have played out I don't believe they were the ones to execute those ferry people, its been far too vague so far, and Norma, as ruthless as she has been has still been quite fair in the grand scheme of things. Although the whole walkie-talkie event at the end bugged me because you cant admit you acted in self defense, and basically have to either say yeah you kidnapped him and beat the shit out of him or nothing happened, which seems fairly ridiculous given the circumstances. Even so, good ep

  • How do I download episode 2?

  • edited March 2016

If you bought the episode through PSN and you're on Europe, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the 31st.

If you're playing in another platform, then just wait a few more hours/minutes and it'll start downloading automatically.

If you're playing it on Steam, then it should already be available to download.

  • wait wait wait. paige never refereed to herself by name once prior to the scene with sam's dad. and funny story i thought that was a guy before the name was said.

  • Are you sure it didn't download yet? Try restarting the game, the Seam version does not update in-game.

You can also check if you have automatic update turned on in your steam.

  • I noticed that too, kind of weird. Michonne just said her name. Maybe there's a choice that tells her name beforehand.

  • Yes, I msure. It says COMING SOON. I did restart the game. Same thing. I do have automatic update on too. This is ridiculous.
