  • My question is why she isn't getting shot at when she tries this? They shoot at her befpre when she attempted to stand, but now they can't?

Where they are getting shot at? I thought it was cool but I was surprised that they had Michonne do her good ol' pet walker move.

  • She had the Rachel Amber outfit on too lolol

Sam got that Max Caulfield haircut.

  • I understand this is a mini-series, but this episode was seriously just too short. They tried too hard to develop Sam's dad before giving him a death everybody saw coming. He was interesting, but the fact that anybody could see he was about to die just took away some enjoyment from the scene with him.

Randall and Norma are pretty interesting villains, even if Randall does share similarities with Carver. Sam is still pretty unlikable and I found myself not really caring if we ended up saving her life or not.

Cause the walkers gave 100% bonus to evasion.

  • Right, so you have 2 choices. Kill Randall anyways, because you know Norma will show up and try to kill Michonne and everyone else, Or let Randall live to try to use him as a bargaining chip. The obvious problem with that is, Norma wont just take Randall and leave peacefully. and I think Sam will kill Randall anyways and Norma will still attack. Randall's hands are wasted, he's pretty much useless but as long as he breathes, he can still be a threat. Either way there's going to be a last battle and the best use for Randall is a human shield. I'd tie him up near the fountain and let Norma come get him. When she's in, Shoot them both and the rest of her crew while they're in the open. Something like that.

I pick the blandest dialogue when returning from them as well, I really dont care about her obviously dead kids or this subplot about them. I get some people like it so thats fine but the hallucinations are just irritating to me

Not a fan of this convenient hallucinating and I hope it goes away soon, or actually goes somewhere. Just seems silly that characters can be perfectly normal one moment, then randomly be in their own world the next.

  • Well the guy is sort of like Carlos in that he wants to shelter his kids and he has somehow managed to do so (its getting more and more weird that so far into the danger people are doing this, especially with so few people.

I think the brenda bit was a joke

How in the hell is John anything like Carlos How is Norma like Brenda What even is this post And before you give me that "its my opinion" spiel, this is my opinion: I don't like your opinion

May main issue with the series as a whole is that while it is a decent enough story I'm just not invested. Telltale villans are always pretty bland so no surprise I dont really dislike them that much. However stripping back the episode so much means I dont really root for the heroes either.

Its kind of like season 2 however there isnt a few episodes to get to know people, we've just been thrown in an expected to care. The first episode this sort of worked as we were meant to be confused about who to side with. Now we are on the brink of a battle and I still honestly want the option to leave and go back to my boat. I feel sort of bad for sam and the kids but again the are nothing to do with me. I kind of fell this is due to the short lengths, the more slower interactive moments are not there anymore and unlike season 2 there isnt the time to care.

Also the way the plot is forced is kind of grating even for a telltale episode. The deaths, conclusion jumping people and forced moral quandries are usually there but the main story plot feels that way also

Why are randall and norma so against us leaving to the point they try and kill us, then try and hunt us down with apparently there whole community when they should be repairing there ships. Why is the only way back this rickety powerline that will obviously collapse. Why is michonne having these weird flashbacks that she never had in the comics. Why does michonne not tell the group about the incoming attack. Why does michonne not leave with pete for their boat. Why is pete so apologetic for these people trying to kill us as we try to escape. Why is this woman who has seen sam is with us, keep pointing guns at us despite walkers being inches away. How the heck has this overprotective father kept this family out of harms way for so long.

  • Well that's what I was saying. His tough, but with his hands like they're are. its going to be pretty hard for him to use force with his hands. Also, I know Norma is not going to be as mellow as it looked like I was suggesting but if you have Randall as a bargaining chip, he can be useful. My only point was that Randall thinks Michonne is a cold blooded killer. He even tries to get personal by mentioning her daughters. His obviously looking for a reaction and you can see it on his face if she doesn't kill him, that his shocked and even says the ball is over. Because he thought she'd kill him like that. I know the game is all about everyones choice and I respect everyones opinions because we are all our own person. But killing him, is giving him what he wants and it makes you the weaker person and him the stronger one because he would always have that on her. I'd rather what you suggested, Sam killing him, after killing Greg and her Dad, it would make sense.

Alright, so I completely finished the episode and I gotta say it was a short one. I stand by what I said earlier that they made them escape that crazy bitch community way too fast. They seem to have a real big issue was some of the writing, pacing, and just building up various aspects to make me truly care for what is going on. Some how they made me kinda care for Sam but not really and I blame that on the writing. I'm actually very surprised at how little background you really are getting with most of these characters. They literally are giving these characters either nothing or very little. They actually gave more background to the guy you just met and would eventually die then they guy you've been went since episode one. Honestly, I felt like this episode presented a lot more than episode one but it just didn't mold together well. While episode one was solid in various regards...I actually feel like episode two took a major step back on some aspects that you expected them to expand upon. We all know this series is about Michonne but making the people around her literally irrelevant in all aspects makes no sense.

    5.5/10

  • Right-oh, so let me just get it out there, it's really been nagging at me; I was really, really, really disappointed with the lack of zip-ties in this episode.
Then again. Why get zip-ties when you have a garage with neat thumb screw devices.....

On a more serious note, my overall opinion on this episode: it was entertaining, I was happy to dive back into the telltale waking dead world. However, it felt rushed, the story a bit plain and I couldn't find myself connecting to any of the characters. But, I don't feel like I wasted my time.
I definitely did feel sorry for John and felt surprised, but that was also because I spent 10 mins going 'Holy crap that guy really looks like Graham Green.'

  • OH okay I was a bit confused by how it sounded.

I'm pretty sure the Clemmy1 was talking about how the characters between Michonne mini-series and TWDS2 have similarities and parallels.

  • Reminds me a lot of a demon kill on Supernatural.

I still can't get over that fucking flare gun kill That is one of the most simultaneously brutal yet awesome deaths I've seen I don't even care if it's stretching reality a bit, that is one godawful way to die

  • I would first like to add that I do in fact agree with most of what y'all are saying however I can't help but to think that with walkers and assholes wandering about telltale did a good job of making it fast paced, as it should be in such a world. On the other hand, as a player I would prefer to slow down a bit to learn more about the characters, so that I feel for them when shit happens and shit will happen. That said, I did expect a longer episode and I wanted to leave Sam for the walker once she had taken the bullet for me and shown me the way, she was just dead weight, lucky her I wasn't given the choice
