Meaning we won't see Stannis taking Deepwood Motte in game. Ah, damn it.
Though I don't think he would have accepted to give his voice to the game anyway seeing how he didn't enjoy his experience with the series, but he does have a great voice.
Yara reported that the Glovers have managed to reclaim Deepwood Motte, I wonder what that means to House Forrester. They might have even aided their liege lord in reclaiming their seat.
I would have preferred a Stark or someone Stark affiliated taking out Roose so he would know that it was justice for Robb, and not just because Ramsay is protecting himself, but I'll take it. Roose really should have seen this coming. I guess he's not as smart as he thinks.
As for Tommen, so long sweet boy, hello Joffrey Jr. What else could happen under Cercei's influence? Lol
The episode was insane! We got justice for Robb Stark! The Walda/baby scene was really, really disturbing, and it's pretty obvious the write… morers are making us hate Ramsay as much as possible before his probable death at the end of the season.
Wun Wun breaking through the gate and smashing that Night's Watch member was epic. It alluded very well to Wun Wun smashing Ser Patrek in the novels, which was also very satisfying.
Bran was more interesting than I thought he'd be and I find myself looking forward to seeing him next week.
The King's Landing scenes were very enjoyable as well. Jaime's lines were epic, and it was nice to see Tommen admit he's a pretty lame king and ask Cersei for help.
Well to be fair its not really cersei there, Tommen is becoming hardened because his weak decisions have lost him so much. Also I dunno about joffrey jr I mean he seems angry now but not cruel and sadistic

We'll get more justice towards the end of the season when we see the Freys, I'm sure. But with the way the story was unfolding, it's no surprise Ramsay finally made a move on Roose.
Also, I think Tommen will still be a nice kid, I just feel that Cersei will cause Tommen's death in her scheme for revenge. I can see the High Sparrow causing Tommen's death.

So Sansa is heading North, Theon west... I was kinda hoping she was going to Riverlands. Roose Bolton stabbed in the heart like Robb Stark w… moreas, and poor Walda and baby bolton, but it was in the air, Roose had a very stupid idea threatening His Monster son the the last episode. The mountain still smashing heads(lol, he deserved it) and Tommen realizing how useless he was as a king, he basically said that he doesn't want to see his mother because he is embarrassed by his poor job. Well, the resurrection of Jon, that escalated quickly, it seemed easier than I expected, but maybe there will be repercussions. Even the dragons were too friendly with Tyrion, I expected it to happen more gradually.
I wonder if Rickon does show up if he will be recasted or not. Also is Rickon a warg? I feel like he definetly is because didn't he see Ned die just like Bran?
Anyways I just got to wonder how old Rickon will be considering the show time line is all over the place lol. Like time at the wall is going slower than the time across the sea.
So Bran and the non three eyed, non crow, three eyed crow have stepped into the Weirwood wood warg esc powers of seeing the past. Not much new is tossed out, more set-up to future shenanigans.
Tyrion's plan to let the dragons free could work if they control themselves and don't go all Drogon. Interesting to see them making friends with a new person as that could've gone horribly wrong (those who have read A Dance With Dragons know what I'm talking about).
Tommen's going to the dark side rather than being kinda useless, so that's bad. But he may end up too eager to please and be too rash rushing into something stupidly Theon style!
Sansa and friends seem to be in good luck, as for Theon's comments about going home should prove interesting as he is technically the best suited for heir, so Euron's not going to approve. Speaking of which...
Balon's finally dead! And he died how he lived; a loser. So as it turns out they are doing the Iron Islands storyline after all, which is great because it's rather interesting. Things gonna get messy!
And still no sign of Stannis the Mannis. I still say he's not dead, off screen deaths are a no-no, and why the secrecy.
Ramsey taking power is going to implode upon itself since he doesn't have self-control (R.I.P Ethan). Also killing Walda will probably upset Walder Frey since she was his granddaughter, even if he didn't actually like her he'll use it as bargaining anyways (if he finds out that is, but Ramsy will probably go with the "poison" route).
And of course the Wall. I'm surprised the remaining Watch surrendered without much of a fight. $1 says keeping Throne alive will bite them in the ass though. And Johns back baby! I friggen knew they weren't done with him yet.
The next time segment caught my attention though, mainly Bran muffin and crow bro (can that please be his new nickname?) were shown in the desert for a split second and later someone fighting someone else in a similar, probably the same, desert. At a guess this is Bran's amazing time travel powers showing Ned and friends fighting the last King's Guard to try and rescue Liana. Although if I remember correctly the looking into the past only work through Weirwood trees, and the number of Weirwoods in the desert range from 0 to none, so I don't know about that.
Thought it was a bit too quick to bring back Jon Snow. Loved how similar Melissandres ritual was to the Faceless men's ritual. Felt almost like Arya was bringing Jon back.
It's crazy to have all three of the youngest Stark children out in totally different places all doing there own type of training. While we get to see Arya and Brans Jedi training, Rickon is in hiding with Osha getting his Podrik on.
Not surprised but it will be sad to see Iwan Rheon go. He was great on the show and the game, and I was really hoping he made it past episode 65 but all good things must end I guess. Also really sad to see Roose go, his actor was also masterful.
Really getting interested in the Sansa and Jaime plot lines though. Hoping that Littlefinger shows up to eff shit up soon for sure. He's been hiding for good reason. Or maybe he was just busy with Quantum Leap
Well, here's a recap.
Ramsay murdered his whole family.
Euron killed his brother, Balon, and makes his appearance.
Arya has no name… more anymore.
Jon is back from the dead.
Tyrion has released Daenerys' dragons.
Daenerys is still with the rival khalasar.
Theon has abandoned Sansa.
Did I miss anything?
Well, Im exaggerating a bit. I know he wouldnt change that much. I just dont trust Cercei's influence. Granted, she's not as bad as she is in the book but she hasnt been the best mother.
Well to be fair its not really cersei there, Tommen is becoming hardened because his weak decisions have lost him so much. Also I dunno about joffrey jr I mean he seems angry now but not cruel and sadistic

Im glad they didnt drag Jon's resurrection out because if its true what I read about seasons 7 and 8 only having 13 episodes between them then there wont be time to drag it out.

To be fair, we don't know the full consequences of the resurrection just yet, and the Berric/LSH lore suggests all sorts of interesting things could happen because of all this.
I thought Melisandre would have to sacrifice herself or something.
I'm glad she didn't. We're only just beginning to understand her as a character, it would be shame to lose her now.
Jon Snow is finally back from the dead. I cant wait to see the reaction of Thorne and Olly. People at the wall now think that Jon Snow is some kind of god, which is really cool. Oh and Ramsay will die this season I guess. All in all a really good episode.
I think the idea is to blackmail Jon to surrender, not so much to sacrifice Rickon. But we know Ramsay is not so good at handling his prisoners with honor or decensy.
I could see them doing this but it seems a waste of rickon really. I get they are tidying up these remaining plotlines but still, with blackfish, edmure, freys etc still alive I dunno I feel he will tie into that plot.
I think the idea is to blackmail Jon to surrender, not so much to sacrifice Rickon. But we know Ramsay is not so good at handling his prisoners with honor or decensy.
Great episode!
Pros:
* It was nice seeing Bran, Meera and Hodor again. The Winterfell vision was cool
* The stuff at the Wall was a… morewesome. Wun Wun slamming that idiot with the crossbow against the wall was hilarious
* Jon's resurrection was done very well
* Euron's introduction
* Balon is finally dead
* Tyrion freeing Viserion and Rhaegal
* Jaime confronting the High Sparrow was intense. I really hope Jaime runs a sword through that fanatic
* Zombie mountain squashing that drunk guy's head against the wall
* No Dorne nonsense
* Roose Bolton's death. I really like how he was killed in the same manner that he killed Robb
* Theon and Sansa's fair well
* Sansa asking about Arya
* Tommen finally growing some balls
* Arya becoming no one
Cons:
* Walda and the baby being torn apart by the hounds. That was hard to watch
Im guessing the north betrays ramsey and jon wins. The trailer seemed to show a collection of the northern houses so im guessing a version of the manderly book plot will play out.
I dont see Ramsey lasting the season. I see the freys changing sides again much to everyones frustration.
Now that Jon has returned, I wonder if he is still Lord Commander of the Night's Watch or if he is even part of the Night's Watch anymore. His oath technically ended when he died and he did die before he got resurrected.
Things happen, heads are smashed, babies are eaten alive, references to the books are made!
Ramsay is a kinslaying power-hungry bastard (yay), I sense that the Northern conspiracy may actually take place in TV version, why else would Karstark be so helpful.
Euron is a kinslaying power-hungry bastard, here at last. Also Damphair is Gandalf. I hope Kingsmoot won't take longer that 2 episodes and Victarion will get to Meereen in this season.
Slaver's bay plot line finally moving somewhere.
10/10, I'm pacified
Except I found JS's resurrection kinda anticlimactic. Also no young Griff, Arya's scenes are just filling time. And where the hell is Littlefinger, hangs out at Captain Gendry's SS Abandoned Plotlines? We sure as hell know Petyr isn't sitting idly by, any news of him?
I think there merging Euron/Victorian into one character which makes sense really
Except I found JS's resurrection kinda anticlimactic.
Its been talked about so much im glad they went with the sort of fake out route
Also no young Griff
I think young griff isnt in the show, thats part of the reason I think dorne got streamlined so much. Really adding another group of characters seems like a distraction for the show
And where the hell is Littlefinger
We havnt seen olenna yet either so im guessing we will see that payoff together, as they were meeting last we saw them.
Slaver's bay plot line finally moving somewhere.
I wouldnt go that far, its doing better than the book version but still very boring
Arya's scenes are just filling time
Yeah I hope they get on with whatever this assassin storyline will turn into
I sense that the Northern conspiracy may actually take place in TV version,
Yeah likely it may be a good way to bring the tullys back into play also

I actually think it's Yara who is given Victarion's story and goes to Meereen, perhaps Theon with her.
And what comes to Arya's scene, I think moving on with the story was exactly what happened, we needed this scene to tell us that her punishment and time as a beggar is over now.

The promo,
I think he's getting Rickon as the man giving the gift is an Umber.
Yup. I didn't realize it either until I went to the wiki. It's cool how they brought him back.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's Rickon. I wonder why the Umbers decided to betray him, though, they have no cause to hate the Starks as far as we know.
That's what's puzzling me too. I get the Karstarks but the Umbers should be decent. Also, remember the line from Ramsay in the season trailer-
100% it's Rickon.
I think the reason is that Jon let the wildlings past the Wall. Umbers hate the wildlings more than any House in the North.
What a shocking episode
I cant believe that. The Umbers are loyal. They wouldnt give Rickon to a betrayer who they know tortures people,
That seems like a solid-ish motivation.
Why? That's Frey territory. The last time a Stark was there...
I wonder if Rickon does show up if he will be recasted or not. Also is Rickon a warg? I feel like he definetly is because didn't he see Ned die just like Bran?

Yeah, you missed the whole Bran vision/flashback.
Also, Theon didnt abandon Sansa. He left her in the care of her sworn sword and Podrick.
To sacrifice Rickon? No way.
