    Unless, Murphy's Law interferes.

I was counting on them being professionals and not making nube mistakes like I did at uni, eg. <img src=StanConcept.png>, didn't notice GIMP saved it as .PNG and annoyingly it makes a difference when using a Unix file system.

Besides if the flash compiled the first time (do you compile Flash? dunno), it'll compile with a filename change unless you make a syntax typo.

It seems Telltale's coders messed up the "loading" Flash file when they tried to upload the new Club 41 Flash with the extra concept art.

Here's a link to what is SUPPOSED to load when you go to Club 41 now.

    Wow...nubes. Nice find!

You mean we're not supposed to have the extra concept art in there yet?

Check the link I posted; the extra concept art is indeed in there.

What happened is that normally a pre-loader SWF file appears first, and then is replaced by the proper Club 41 SWF. For some reason the pre-loader was broken when they updated the Club 41 Flash file, so I just went ahead and linked to what you're MEANT to see.

We are. The missing images last Friday promised more concept art this week.

Yeah I expected them today at the latest.

Even though we've already seen them so no biggy.

Right, I know it's possible to cheat on the PC version of the treasure hunt. But someone said something happens if you try and cheat. What is it?

It's not. I tried a hard refresh too.

I think I have a problem with my treasure hunt page, it only shows the first 5 maps and can’t access to see the rewards in them, I can’t scroll to see the remaining maps either.

Thanks. I guess I'll try to use the forum, or should I send them an e-mail @ support@telltalegames.com / mailotron@telltalegames.com?

I finally sent TTG an e-mail @ support. They replayed shortly sending me a copy of the Interloper. Now I've got my new map. ;)

Yeah, I hope something does happen. But even if it doesn't, I won't mind that much because we'll be going inside Club 41 in the new episode anyway (I'm guessing)!
  • edited October 2009
The crocodile's mouth and the door /open/ when you mouseover them, so that's *something*. Not quite as good as the concept art, I guess, but still...
  • edited October 2009
    I cheated..... and I died :(
  • edited October 2009
So, is Club 41 a collection of (three) concept arts and a croc mouth and door opening?
Are they anticipating something about ep. 4, or have I not understood anything?
  • edited October 2009
well maybe the crocodile is a clue for the 4th episode. I bet you will have to click on it. Ok probably all the 4 things are clues :D... I loved the mayor spoiler :D.

It's possible they'll add another two slots: one for a last episode teaser and one free episode.

Isn't Telltale the greatest? What other company would give away so many discounts and great material?

They know what they are doing.

I would have never bought Sam & Max Season 1, Season 2 and Monkey island if it weren't for little discounts and promotions :)

Or maybe I would have but later, after reviews and maybe a little price drop

But how can you resist seasons at 20$ bucks and monkey island for 25$

    I know I Couldn't :D

And I'm glad I did because now I really love Telltale, it's even fun to buy things !! I'm looking forward for Sam and max 3 and the famous episode 4 of TMI :o
  • edited October 2009
Yeah Telltale didn't invent the discount.
  • edited October 2009
But how many GAME companies give away pretty much free discounts for their products? I don't know very many and-
This is a pointless argument, actually...

I cheated, but I didn't die. So still, where's the negativity in doing it, besides missing out on map hunting fun?

Second that, I probably wouldn't have bought Sam & Max season 1 & 2 if it weren't for those irresistible discounts. And I'm very glad that I did buy them.

I tend to avoid concept art. I'm always disappointed when the game doesn't look as good. TMI is a great looking game, but the concept art is better.

    Am I wrong?
  • edited October 2009
I personally think the concept art has been pretty exact to what the real thing looks like, save for the being 3D and all
  • edited October 2009
Yeah I think the finished product has been pretty spot on... they followed the concept art pretty closely. The only real difference is some coloring details.
