Found a work-around, in case this happens to anyone else do this:

Go to where you can't do anything and save your game. Then load a new save, then the one you just saved where you can't do anything.

That should get you past it.

    To be honest, apart from
conversations between Morgan and Guybrush (though still I think even they lack a little emotion), everything happens really fast and a bit dull. I haven't finished the episode yet, I'm at the part where rips are opened and things. I know Elaine has a plan or so, I can guess it, but "woo I have a plan now, so let's get all demonic and spray away my husband even though I don't actually know if he can come back or die completely this time, but still I have a plan!" is not what I expected from Elaine. It was just, emotionless. Oh well, Monkey Island ought not to be a drama anyway. I wonder how it ends!

hmm... it seems I was excited for this...

    I thought that the whole
Elaine thing there was more intensely creepy and unsettling than anything else. In fact the whole episode so far is creepy, bleak, and unsettling.
    I like it.

So far it's a really amazing episode, but I have to stop due to tiredness and hungryness. I'll finish it tomorrow.

Okey, the ending was quick, but waiting of the final cutscene at the end felt ETERNAL

    BIG SPOILERS OF COURSE.
Ghost Pirate Morgan? Voodo Lady's Evil Laugh? LeChuck in a jar? If all of that doesn't mean a Season 2...

Seriously! Now I can't wait for Season 2! Has anyone else
visited the sam & max website from the ending
    ? ^_^

Really enjoyed this Telltale! It seemed to me that you really worked hard on keeping the spirit of the original games. Definately my favourite TT series to date :)

awesome series, and good finale. My only real issue with the finale was that it wasnt funny enough. i can remember almost pissing myself laughing with all of the other episodes but this one just didnt have that hilariousness to it. thats just my opinion. (although im sure i wasnt the only one expecting something funnier when you click on the main mast)

That was the Monkey Island game I have been waiting over ten years for. If there is never another Monkey Island game, I am OK with that. If there is, that's great too. But it was just a perfect closure to the series, after ten years of Escape leaving a bitter ending in our mouths.

    Thank you, Telltale.

My only nitpick about this chapter was the
obvious character reuse of the treasure hunter guy. I'm not even sure if we've met him before in previous chapters... he didn't sound like anyone I remember.
But I thought the music was great, especially in the underworld.

I gotta say, that was the best MI end-battle ever. Or at least right up there with MI2, but this one gets my vote. It was exciting and Earl Boen was great. Well done!

This episode has a lot going for it, and overall I'd say it's my second favorite of the season despite its major drawbacks around the middle of it. A lot of "fetching" missions here, where I have to
    travel constantly between rips
to solve one puzzle, and to(from a practical standpoint) move what is essentially a couple of feet or a change in state. A streamlining of this process was really needed, especially when I'd figured out what to do but had SO MUCH WALKING to accomplish it.

The ending was pretty superb, though. Really classic LeChuck final battle stuff. And the cute little puzzle at the very end. AMAZING atmosphere on that one. I'm just sitting there, in the dark, and it's so quiet and solemn and I almost expect the credits to roll. And then I walk around a bit, wondering if I can go anywhere. Well, I can't, but I can interact with one thing. And then the whole thing just clicked in my head, and it was one of the few times I got a heartwarming feeling from a puzzle.

Overall, really happy with the episode. Definitely a bit topheavy, though. Even happier with the little announcement after the credits!

Have to say, thought that was a fantastic final chapter. It's also the first one I've played through entirely on release day, I just couldn't stop playing.

Now to look forward to 2010...

Definitely your fault for deciding to buy from an uncontrollable third party distributor. See, Telltale can't just upload something onto Steam. They give the file to Steam, and it's Steam's fault if it doesn't happen to go up soon.

Just saying that if you choose to buy from a retailer, don't complain to the people that make the product when they are able to get the wholesale product up a bit faster. They were expressing anger at Telltale for being slow, when their anger was misplaced.

No, I agree with you. I was just being a bit of an ass.
