I found a site that list's games and there release dates for all platforms and it says that the first episode is being releases on the 16th on PS3 and PC on the 20th: http://games.gamepressure.com/games_encyclopedia.asp
I don't know why everyone insist on release date when we've already agreed that having information about the future can have disastrous consequences.
Yea if we all knew (when all true members of the actual present know) than it could disrupt the space time continuum and cause massive server spikes of people eager to download, which could either cause destruction of the entire universe, or people will simply be enjoying a very good game!!
On that note, I think its fair to say we should know within a week, and I doubt it would be post xmas.
They usually mention a date at least a week in advance, so it will probably not be this week. So, either early next week or the week after that. Then they run out of December.

Yea but this is a huge movie tie in thing. Could be a 24 hour notice for all we know.
I honestly don't mind not knowing the exact date too much, though I'll admit I've been checking the site pretty much daily. I figure worst case scenario is it'll end up being like what happened to me with Poker Night: I missed the release date announcement and was pleasantly surprised when I realized I could download the game.
I think they are playing the game right now and laugh at us.
Of course they do. They have to playtest it (Well, there is a chance that there's nothing left to playtest, so they are just playing it for fun, but, heck, I doubt TT are THAT evil Hm... but who knows?)
Don't you realize they're not giving a release date because then this forum will be swamped with posts starting at midnight that day New Zealand time stating "where's the game?! you said today?!" till California has caught up?
Please!!, release it with subtitles in spanish!, there would be too complicated for your Spanish-speaking fans, playing the game in its original language.
That does not cost too much extra work!!, come on!:p:p:p

Please read the general FAQ. Thanks. Telltale has no in-house translators, as far as we know, That stuff gets localized by other companies.
Forum note: This is the one and only thread to have your speculations cut down to size and also will be a thread to rejoice either the release date, or the announcement of the game actually being released.
Hey, any subtitles in spanish and so-so would be better then we mostly get in the UK ^_^ while most spellings aren't too hard to work out, there are alot of 'fears' and problems as some kids and such like aren't learning to spell right.. It's a bit like Mexico only using Spanish.. it's different in odd ways at times.. Oh well ^_^
EDIT:
Personally.. i think they have missed a very good chance.. in fact, two good chances.. the UK release of the oringal film was 4th December...
And of course, they could have had the last episode out on the oringal American release date of 3rd July, apart from that would mean a month gap between the 4th and 5th episodes..
Shame but isn't that two good chances they have missed?

Ehhhh wrong.
That said, we'll be announcing a date soon.
Ah, so it's 16th on PC and 20th on PS3 then?
Actually, I see something completely different when I look at that site.
However, I feel as though those PS3 and iPad dates are probably wrong.
I figured that was coming seeing as we're almost halfway through the month! Thanks Alan!
Those are also incorrect.
Meaning ...THEY STILL DON'T KNOW.
I figured as much.
As such it's likely to be later than 19 december. Only 12 days left then to be the target.
C'mon man! Spill the beans. No-one will know...
...ouch, even that gets old. Time for something new.
If one of us went to the future and got back, wouldn't we have the game already?

My head is about to explode.

That being said, I can't wait to play. ^_^
I guess we'll know when it's out when we can download it. Hopefully soon!
Well, even if someone guessed it, I doubt you'd say, "That's right! You got it!"

But seriously it should be announced any day now

I would assume the goal is to get it out before they leave for Christmas break, so probably early next week.
