Have you guys ever thought of making a Breaking Bad type game? I think you guys could do something pretty cool with it. Oh and what the hell were you guys thinking having "you know what" happen at the end of season 4 lol?

Could we pay to hug you guys for making this amazing game?

would it have killed you guys to give 1 black guy a happy ending? why are the black males always expendable.
  • edited October 2012
What was your reasoning or thought process in killing off Chuck so quickly without giving us time to interact with him? He seemed like a real smart guy who knew how to survive, would have expected him to last much longer then he did.

dude im in the same boat. i cant believe it. saved data error? ive never seen that before this game. deleted ALL MY PROGRESS??

will someone from telltale pls take responsibility? this ep was 10x better than ep3, but at the VERY END, it gave me the saved data corruption error. There is no justice, u paid 20$ to get ripped off. dont even bother trying to play thru again, you'll get to ep3 and it will do the same thing.
WHERE YOU AT TELLTALE TEAM? nowhere to be found. cowards.

can you make the next protagonist another black male?
  • edited October 2012
i hear ya thugnasty. the whole appeal of this game to me was the decisions i would make under pressure...now i can never recreate that first play through... its just fucking gone.

I'm happy that Lee and Clem got their chance to shine in a really good game and as the main characters. This is the walking dead, there is no happy ending. The game had people from all walks of life and I thank Telltale for that.

Ok, so the save corruption happened to someone at the end of the game?
Mine happened in the (may be a spoiler, might not be... skip if you want) school hallway on my way to search the zombie doctor for a tape.
I was so upset... not that I have to replay the game to get the story decisions I initially had, but that it happened before I could finish this chapter I've been dying to play.
It erased all three of my save files so I'm not even sure what happened.

Any response from the tech team?

I heard you're making a second season. Is it going to be DLC or a completely new game which you need to buy separately for 24,99 euros? (Steam Price).

Episode 4 was amazing! Thank you! Anyway, this question has already been asked I think, but dont have time to look through 53 pages.

Will there be subtitles? and if so, for what countries? I'd love to buy one or two games as christmas presents, except, I'm not so sure they can handle english that well.

I came home yesterday thinking I could play the game. But it said connection lost when I tried to download it and that I should check my internet connection. I do NOT have a problem with my internet connection. Anyway that evening ruined I thought that I would spend this evening playing the game. But it is the same problem. Connection lost. Please, anyone from Tell Tale Team, can you at least confirm that you have recieved information regarding this problem? I sent you an e mail yesterday but have not recieved a reply.

So the game is still not working. Can a member of the team please send out an apology or a form of explanation or maybe just some type of confirmation that some member of TTG is still alive.

no response, they are terrified. I wouldnt be surprised if someone filed a class-action lawsuit sometime soon demanding their money back bc they didnt receive a product they paid for. Personally, whatever, its $20 and its a video game, but some people might be inclined to take more action.

We're looking into the PS3 save corruption issue. We don't have anything to say yet because a fix isn't in place yet, but we are more than aware that it's happening.

ok....so do your customers not get an apology? Can we be refunded? What's the deal? How is this all that is said? I still have not received and e-mail from customer support. It's also nice to see TT doesn't even pick up the phone. Thank you for sending me directly to Matt's voice mail.

Are you also aware of the problems that many many pc users are having with the faulty product?

Demanding an apology is not an appropriate way to get one. And the fact that multiple people are probably going to start responding to Jake's post -- I'm guessing some of them with nasty responses -- is probably why TT has been silent while they hash these problems out. Because they don't want to create a firestorm of forum posts. And I agree with them.

Customer support is made up of human beings. There are only a limited number of these human beings available to respond to emails. These humans also need sleep, and food, and do not have the time to respond to every single email instantly. I know this because I am, in fact, also a human being who requires such things.

Before anyone leaps down my throat, I'm not a Telltale employee and though I sympathize with all of the people having technical problems, you've also come to a thread where TT designers and writers answer questions about scripting, plotting and things like that. Not technical questions. There's a thread for that.

These guys made a game that everyone on these forums LOVES. Realize they're a small company with limited resources and that they're likely trying their best, and show them a little damn respect. Or feel free to flame me for writing this if that makes you feel better.

    Need more specifics than that.

Also as I've said a couple times, this thread isn't a tech support / purchase support thread. This is for questions about the game content with the game developers! There is an entire separate forum for tech support issues. I honestly don't know the answers to a lot of those questions, so by posting them here you are wasting your breath! If you post in the support forum or write to support@telltalegames.com you are more likely to be heard by someone who can fix your problem than by posting it here. I am doing my best to help you guys though!

Thank you for making me read a laundry list of excuses...The game is faulty. I'm sorry. It pains me to write shit like this because i was having an amazing experince up until ALL of my saves were erased.

OH you guys know how to speak huh??? surprising since you guys disappear after a esp. releases.

    Hi Telltale!

I was wondering if you would consider having the 'Next time on the Walking Dead...' previews optional or skippable in the second season. I had always turned off my sound and looked away during previews so every episode would be surprising. I am not alone in this.

Anyway, keep up the good work. <3

Why are you killing off my homebro Lee?

    That is all.
  • edited October 2012
Tentative release date for episode 5?

Tentative release date for Season 2?

Or are you not allowed to say? A 'general' answer, like "early November" or something like that is cool.

I'd also like to know why the writers wanted to kill Lee in season 1.

i know you're aware because i've been complaining about it since episode 2

Was this idea of having a variety of different options in terms of what party you have at the end of episode four planned from the start?
  • edited October 2012
Why did you guys stop making different clothes for Lee? That shirt is nothing compared to his sweet-ass jacket from episode 2.
  • edited October 2012
Did you guys reuse the "wind" sound from Tales of Monkey Island? The sound plays at the very beginning of the episode and a few points later but when I heard it I laughed a bit because I'm almost sure it's the same sound.
