Simply, a transgendered man or a transgendered female. To be honest, I never saw something like that in any zombie universe.

Exactly i meant how would it work in a Zombie universe and especially interpreted by TTG in a game.In books/novels its easier to add complicated characters consisting different shades and layers to them, a game is just not the place to do it.Personally i wouldn't wanna play as a trans-gender male or female.

I was about to call you sexist but when I think about it, it would be pretty cool. I think especially if we get a whole new group of people.

If you go by your pretty little woman self and get lost in the woods and a gang of bandits show up... It would be a whole other situation than if it was big ole Lee wandering around scoping pointy fences.

Yeah, I figured that. I would prefer a female.

I have nothing against having a women being the main protagonist next season.

I don't care if I play as a male or female. Hey, I'd play as a senile old dentist trying to fix the zombie's teeth! As long as the character is well written, I'm happy. Of course my poor old dentist will get chomped and die quickly....:(

Well, I think it would be nice, and Telltale certainly has the talent to create a female character that isn't a token sexuality object.

By the way, I played the Mass Effect trilogy twice, first with M!Shep and then with F!Shep :D.

No. Not to be sexist or anything but Males are so much better as a protagonist than a female.

More men than women play this... therefore it is fair to allow the majority to get to choose--- and I think most want to play as men

Well as a male i'd prefer to play as a female character.

But I also think that Telltale should be the one to choose what character will fit best in the story they are going to tell next season.

Maybe you but most men want to play as a man. I don't want to be a girl, I would have to hook up with a guy!

In the end, I think the gender/ethnicity of the main character is something superficial. As long as they give us a character as compelling as Lee, I believe we should be alright :D

That's true but unfortunately there are still lots of people who can't realize that. I remember when EP1 came out and a lot of people made a big deal about the main character being black. Funny that he turns out to be a big badass, awesome, well written character I've ever seen for a protagonist. I really wouldn't mind playing a female lead and would prefer it over male, but if they went that route the uproar would be bigger than it was for playing a black guy.

This was ironic for me as well. As soon as the debut trailer was revealed for the game, I was like "I'm SO going to hate this group of survivors." Later, Lee's group turned out to be my favorite in TWD universe.

The comic has lesbian characters in it.

    *TTG makes female protagonist*
    *Game releases*
    Forums:
    omfg *name* is so hot!
    will we see *name* naked*?
    *name* has a nice butt
    etc,etc,etc

UNLESS the female protagonist is either Christa or Clem. That would be great
I would prefer to play as Omid though.

I love Omid don't get me wrong, but Christa makes a better Protag than he does IMO. She wears the pants in that relationship :P

Can't we play Larry while he is naked, wielding a big war axe, and Clementime sitting on his shoudler.

I just pictured that in my mind...
I am now scarred for life.

No it's had been decided, most people don't like playing a woman(well most people I know or ask) the only reason they do is because they have some perverted agenda when playing as them like in mass effect the only reason they play fem shep is because one they want to see her naked two they just want to stare at there butt IMO not every one is the same

That's obviously the only logical reason why anyone would ever want a female protagonist. Even the gay guys and the straight women only likes women for their beautiful naked bodies.

Christa should be the protagonist in the next season IMO. AND the gameplay involves a scene where she gives birth. How's that for a female protagonist video game first?? Trying to survive, first as a pregnant woman, then trying to care for an infant.

Also, the whole series should be about Clem. However far they take it, she needs to continue to be the focal point. That's why Christa makes sense as protagonist next season to me.

Then she gives birth to Lee which creates a space loop hole time paradox and the screen just goes black

She gives birth to Clem. I thought this was common knowledge..?

Have you asked any women? Cos I'm willing to bet majority of women prefer to play as a woman.

I think she's saying that Christa is pregnant with Clementine and Lee. Which is just ridiculous, there's no evidence that she's pregnant with Lee. Honestly I think it's more hinted at that she's pregnant with Larry and, obviously, Clementine.

I would personally hate a female protagonist and there is little to no chance there will be one. TT knows the majority of its gamers are guys and also it wouldnt be the same feel. Im not sexist at all but lets be honest. Unless the girl is Molly, and even then, it would be a complete turn off

I think there was a study on how many male gamers prefered to play as Female Shepard.

Mostly it had to do with Femshep = Lesbian, and they'd rather not stare at a man's ass for 30 hours of gaming.

The guys I know considered the staring issue; and also preferred the voice actor. :3

Well, millions of female gamers play as men and I never hear them complain that they can´t get into the game for that alone. I don´t mind playing as characters of either gender, as long as they are well developed. Maybe you should give it a try and have a little faith rather than having such a knee-jerk reaction?
