She's the person at Telltale who's in charge of getting more pins printed. :D
Oh wonderful! Any solid plans for these new buttons? Sold in the store? Contest prizes? Put into a Case File "Guybrush Captain's Log"-style thing?

Wow, that seller ripperx has sold at least two full sets of buttons already and has a third up for auction now. I'm not really surprised but I'm kind of sad to see this. We handed out every last button at E3 -- we didn't even have extras to bring back for people on the Tales of MI team. It's sad to me that someone took that many buttons, which could have been handed out to other fans or mailed to people on our forums, so he could turn around and sell them for crazy prices on eBay. :(

Oh well. Like Lindsay said, we are planning to print more.

Well, I think the best way to crack down on such a people is to make the goods they sell more available and less palatable for "collectors"... i.e. exactly printing more of them and letting anyone know!!

    Merch democracy!

...Have I already said how much I love TTG? :D

PS: Yes, I hate "collectors", they spoil the fun on so many things, they complain when things are re-printed, etc. etc. ... despicable.

And they usually fight like a cow, too.

YES! Quantitative easing! I've heard it works far more effectively if you fly over England in helicopters, throwing them from above! (That way I can gett one without flying to America.... Mwuhahahaha!)

... Oh but make sure the pins are in, before you hurl them to the defenceless masses below.

ARGH! No matter how hard ye tried to hide it, I can plainly see in this here map, Doctor Octopus in the eye of the cloud, Area 51, El Chupacabra, the Loch Ness Monster, and the X marking the spot of the new location of the legendary Big Whoop!

Whoops, wait, never mind. It appears I lost my contacts again. :p

I think this picture not only shows a map.
But I think on the map we can see part of a verry special island: let's say the Monkey Island.

Just few words about the video:
    - Humour - yep, thats Monke Island for sure : ) Thanks, TellTale.
    - Graphics - neeeat. It's 3D and that's a shame, but that's the second best 3D I've ever seen.
    - Character design - better than EMI, very close to CMI. Hard to do it any better.
    - Voices - here comes one complain - LeChuck's "Har, har, har" is a bit too... well, that just doesn't sound like a villian in a momet of victory. Sounds more like Ozzie than LeChuck I know.
  • edited July 2009
I agree on LeChuck's "Har"'s, but apart from that the video looks (AND sounds) fantastic. Great to see some action too, since the scenes from Flotsam Island seem more on the slow side.

And yes the music. It's Extra Epic that Michael Land is back on board. As in, back on board doing something Monkey Island-related. I can't wait to hear more of his tunes. On the same topic, will Bay Area Sound be contributing to this project at all? Would be interesting to hear Mr. Emerson-Johnson's interpretation on an MI song or two. I love what he's done at TTG so far.

If the first island is called Flotsam, does that make that Jetsam?

    edited July 2009
So far at least, Bay Area Sound's been doing all of the voice direction and sound effects, leaving the music to Michael Land.
