"Missing mommy and daddy?" Finnegan laughs.
"Go fuck yourself you son of a bitch." The gi… morerl from seven hisses and turns her head to me. "Give it back to me. NOW!"
"You want it back?" Vivienne says, "Get on the floor and beg."
"Lick the floor too while you're at it." Alexia orders.
"I'm going to fucking kill all of you." She whispers.
"I'd like to see you try." I smirk at her in the most convincing way possible, Vivienne is watching my every move to see if I'm 'Career worthy.' All the raw aggressiveness sinking into Alexia, Vivienne and Finnegan is starting to come out. Making them look more bloodthirsty than ever. This is just plain disgusting, I wish I could just leave this alliance, but it's probably my best shot of winning. If I ever want to see my family again I'll have to take part in this alliance.

Fucking motherfuckers. I hope they fall face first into a fucking meat grinder, then get packaged up and shipped off to a fucking store where they will eventually get eaten by some unsuspecting people.

Hey guys, oh my god I'm so sorry for ditching again I was taking a break to do some homework(like 3 essays) I should've announced this earlier but oh well e.e I'm back!!
"HEY HEY HEY! Oh my god! We need medical attention over here quickly!"
Everything is so blurry and muffed.. I.. I can't see properly. Ow.. Help me... Miah..? Oh no..
BOOM!
"AH!" I scream out. Wait.. What? Where am I? I take a twirl and take a look at my surroundings. I look to see that I'm surrounded by trees so thick I can't see past the first layer of them. Is this real life? Have I been dreaming this whole time about being in the games? I twirl once more and spot a tall male figure sprinting off.
I race through the underbrush trying to catch up with the figure, scraping my bare feet on rocks, cutting my face and arms on tree branches. This person is so much faster than me but I keep pushing.
After a few minutes of running, I finally catch up to the figure when it stops in the middle of a clearing.
"Who are you?" I call out to him. "And where am I?"
The figure turns around, revealing his identity.
"Hello Valerian." He says, fidgeting with a belt in his hand.
"Dad?!" I look at him in confusion, his mouth was closed in a thin straight line and his hair was tied back. The jacket he wore over his broad shoulders had neatly polished buttons. "No, this isn't real. This can't be real!"
"Oh, but it is Valerian." An unknown woman says, emerging from behind a tree. The woman is almost unrecognisable but then it hits me. That's my mother. Her long dark brown hair, her body structure, her emerald green eyes.. It matches the photos at home perfectly.
"Mo.. Mommy?" I say in shock as hot warm tears begin to stream down my cheek. I prepare to leap into her arms for a hug until I feel a violent grip on my arm.
"It's all your fault." My father says, tightening his grip around my arm.
"What? What are you saying..?" I say, no longer fighting back my tears.
"It's your fault." My father repeats, releasing his grip on my arm. "Pathetic dog."
"Honey, I'm dead. I've been dead for 13 years." She walks over towards me with a finger pointed in my direction. "It's your fault, you're the reason I'm dead. I never wanted you, you were a mistake. But guess what?" she adds with a humorless laugh. "Now, you are going to pay."
The both of them start to come towards me, I try to run but I trip and fall down onto the muddy ground.
I'm going to die. This is it.
I close my eyes and stay still waiting for death.
But the blow never comes.
I open my eyes and they're both gone. It was a dream, it was all a bad dream. But now, I've woken up to an even worse dream. I'm still here in the Capitol and alive, preparing for my death.. I don't want to be in the games, this is too much for me to handle. I'm just thirteen, I wanted to have a proper family where I would feel safe but I feel as if that's impossible now, all I can do now is just try to survive. I gently remove my bed sheets and walk up to the mirror in my room. I look like a mess.. Well, at least I'm not covered in tons of bruises. The people from the medical center probably injected me with a serum that would heal my bruises and any sort of damage. I have a bruise below my eye, and a bruise on my upper arm. I thought I'd look way worse to be honest. I grab a comb off of the table and brush through my black hair, my stylist is probably going to cut more of my hair off before the interviews, I'll miss you hair. I place the comb back onto the table and hear a sudden creak from behind. It's Merona, opening my door.
"Chaff told me to check on you." Merona says, gently tip toeing into the room. "So, how're you feeling?"
"Better.. I guess." I say, rubbing my head.
"You had a lot more bruises when you were taken to the medical area." Merona looks at me in shock. "The medicine they gave you must truly work, if only we had that back in eleven.."
"Yeah." I let out a small sigh. It feels odd talking to Merona, usually she'd just plain out ignore me because of the rude things I said to her back in eleven for eating the crops. She's probably just talking to me now because she feels bad about what happened.. Or because Chaff told her to. I have to admit, Chaff is pretty scary. "So how long was I out?"
"Six hours." Six hours?! Jesus...
"Chaff changed your clothes for you by the way." She says.
"Wait, what?!? No, you're joking." I say in a shocked tone, cringing away from Merona.
"Haha! I got you good." She laughs uncontrollably. "Man, did you see the look on your face!?"
"Not funny!" I exclaim. Oh well, it's good to have a bit of a joke, especially with all the terrible stuff going on.
"Anyways, dinner is served in about five minutes.." She says, tip toeing again to the door. "You can come join us if you want, or you can catch up on some rest. Chaff doesn't mind."

DISTRICT 8: Flavia Preston
"So, what'd you guys do in training today?" Woof asks across the table.
"I did physical combat." I say with my head down, poking the meat on my plate with my fork. This meat doesn't taste as good as the chocolate muffins and strawberries we had back on the train. Ellie would've loved this meal though. Everything just seems to remind me of Ellie, I miss her so much. I'm gonna try my best and win this. For her and mother.
"I did climbing, I wasn't too bad at it." Gustav says with his mouth stuffed with the meat and fresh peas.
Not a pleasant sight. I say to myself.
"Manners young man!" The Escort exclaims, smashing her knife and fork onto her plate. I let out a small giggle because their face is just priceless.
"Alright jeez.. Sorry." Gustav says, looking at the Escort with widened eyes.
"Did you get a glimpse on your competition?" Woof asks, with his brown eyes set on me and Gustav.
"A little too much." I murmur.
"The boy from eleven got smashed by the boy from one!" Gustav yells again while chewing. Small chunks of meat come out flying from his mouth and land onto the Escort's plate.
"You pig!" The escort exclaims once again. "And I was planning on giving you dessert! You're never going to taste Mrs Portia's special dessert now!"
Gustav looks at his plate in silence and gives a little smirk to Woof and I. I've watched Gustav in the training center and he was too arrogant. Arrogance can become a big problem, especially in the games.
"The Careers... Hm." Woof says. "They probably gave the boy from one the same treatment he gave the boy from eleven as punishment."
"How good are the Careers?" I ask, placing down my knife and fork.
"Well, they're pretty good." Woof says while an Avox comes over and pours him a glass of wine. "They win almost every year."
"Almost." Our Escort assures us.
I look over at Gustav, and can't help but notice how opposite him and Lilo are. Are they even related?
"But usually they have their heads too far up their own ass, so don't count yourselves out just yet." Woof says as he begins to take a sip of his red wine. I don't get why half of the victors turn to alcohol. The darn thing doesn't even taste that good.. I remember sneaking out when I was thirteen to get a taste of my mom's wine that she stole off District Eight's hob. I still remember the taste in my mouth. Egh! Disgusting.
"Since we're approaching the second day of training," Woof began, "Don't trust the other tributes. You're in it to win it, not to have a chat and make friends. This isn't school anymore. It might seem like allies are a good thing but they're not. Trust me."
"I wasn't planning to anyway." I say, pulling my plate off into the side of the table as an Avox collects all of our plates.
"Me neither." Gustav adds.
"Anyways, goodnight. You guys need sleep, it's going to be a long day tomorrow." Woof says as he rises up from his chair and trails off to his room, carrying a bottle of wine.
"Goodnight Flavia." Gustav says. "And Escort..."
"Uh? Excuse me! I have a name you foul being! It's Linnie!" Our escort hisses.
"Well, okay. Goodnight Linnie." Gustav smirks as he trails off to his room.
"Rude beast!" Our Escort huffed. "Since you've been kind to me today, would you like to try Mrs Portia's dessert?"
[Yes] [No]
DISTRICT 12: Arielle
These games are full of fucking shit, especially the tributes. They're twice as dumb this year than usual. Being a twelve year old and being from District twelve gives me a huge advantage as almost all of the tributes will underestimate me. My District partner, the boy from five and the tributes from nine are already falling for my 'I lost my eye because my daddy beats me' act. I bet everyone sees me as the poor twelve year old girl with a blind eye that got reaped but nope. I'm far from that. My District partner, Sebastian is weak, he looks like the typical District twelve tributes that get killed off in the Bloodbath. Hopefully he does die in the bloodbath, it'll be one less tribute I have to kill.
I lay down on my bed, thinking of who I should target first once the games begin. The boy from five seems like a threat but it'll be hard to kill him with my size. The tributes from nine will be an easy target as the boy looks weak and oblivious to any sort of weaponry. Except the female, she looks like she knows a bit about weaponry, although I'm not sure. I expect the boy from nine to stick with her like glue so they might not be an easy target as well. Sebastian might be an easy target but I'm not completely sure, he might be hiding his skills. I have my doubts about him.

Poor Valerian should eat something. I'm glad he's fine, though I'm still angry at the career dickhead for beating him like that. Hopefully Valerian gets some chance of revenge in the games, that would be great!
[Yes]
Super Special Dessert for my girl!
[Target the tributes from nine first]
Well, Atticus is obviously love and life and shall not be targeted. Targeting Sebastian has the best chances of actually giving her a kill and I wouldn't want that. Maybe her chances to actually kill someone are the worst when targeting two tributes at once, so it shall be the 9's for me, in the strong hope that she does not manage to be even the slightest threat to them.

I don't think Lachlan will die. He was build up as the only good career, so I think he will leave them behind at some point in the games. I hope Flavia stays safe, but I have the bad feeling Atticus won't survive the bloodbath. About the rest... I don't know. The ones mentiones above are certainly a possibility, but I think there will be surprising deaths in this bloodbath.

"Good morning Tributes, the first half will be the same as yesterday. Please stay alert for any upcoming announcements during your lunch time. Thank you."
The Head Trainer blows her whistle.
We all disperse, and I try to find a station that doesn't seem like it will be preoccupied. The Careers gravitate towards the weaponry, as well as some tributes from the outer Districts. Others go towards the running courses and the plant identification stations, and then I spot a station that no one has gone to.
The knot-tying station.
I make my way towards it, and I scan the table, seeing what materials I'm going to be working with. I pick up a piece of string, feeling the material in between my fingers.
My fingers fumble around the string, and I make a small hole and push my thumb through it, and with my point finger, I lift the string, and once I do that, it comes undone. I tense up, slamming the string down on the table, and I close my eyes, shaking my head. I take a deep breath, and I try again, this time going more slowly.
This time, I slip the string between my pointer and middle finger, and I stretch it out, pulling it tightly. I loop the string around my fingers, and I slip it through the small hole. Just as I think I have it, I pull it vertically, and once again, it comes undone.
I throw the string onto the table, crossing my arms over my chest. I should know how to do this. It's string. It's not a weapon. It's nothing advanced or technical. It's just string.
"Want some help?" Frederic, my District partner, comes into view, scooping up some string in his hands. He begins to play around with it, rubbing it between his palms and pulling off some of the stray strings. "Back in Six.."
"I don't need help," I snap, cutting him off. He looks up, his eyebrows narrowed, a half-smirk on his face. "I appreciate it, Frederic, but I can do it on my own."
"Clearly," he says, rolling his eyes, and he shrugs his shoulders, tying the string into a perfect knot within seconds. "Let's see you do that, then."
"Alright," I say, taking a handful of my own string. I try to make it not too obvious that I'm copying his form, but I slowly loop the string through the hole, and when I pull it, it makes a knot, but it's too loose. I place it down onto Frederic's palm. "There you go."
With one light tug, the string comes untied. Damn it!
"At least you tried," he says, making another knot within seconds. He places it down, and he pushes it towards me. I look away, making him sneer. "I'm just trying to help, Kyva."
"I don't need your help," I say tersely. "I'm capable of doing it myself."
"Doing what yourself?" He says, looking up at me. He still has that stupid little smirk on his face. "I suspect we aren't talking about knot-tying anymore."
"I…" I say, gulping, taken back a little. I shrug my shoulders, and begin to look down at the floor, thinking of an answer. I look back up at Frederic and realise that I don't want to argue with him. I don't want to argue with anyone, especially not here. "Whatever."
"Whatever," he repeats, mocking me. "Want to go train now?"
"I have been." I mutter, grabbing another piece of string from the table.
"This isn't training," Frederic scoffs, chuckling as he turns his head, looking back at me over his shoulder. "This is child's play. Show me what you can do with a weapon and maybe I'll forgive you for failing with string."
"But our mentor said not to show off our skills." I say, making a third loop on my string.
"Who cares what they say?" Frederic laughs, "They're morphine addicts anyways."
"Why would you not care?" I ask "We could be targeted. Anyone could be watching us."
"Well, we gotta show people what we're made of sooner or later." He whispers. "Plus, I don't want the Gamemakers counting me out yet."
"Can't you just wait till the private sessions to show off whatever skill you have?" I say, putting my pathetic excuse of a knot down.
"Yeah, but I want these tributes to know not to mess with me." He says. I glance over at the sword station. The only people in that station are the Careers and the tributes from ten. I'm guessing half of the tributes are starting to avoid them ever since what went down with the boy from one and the boy from eleven. Whatever, it didn't really scare me anyways.
"So, you coming or not?" Frederic asks me, tilting his head.

I can't do it.
Watching my first spear land barely on the edge of the target, I shake my head, unhappy with my performance. I never thought it would be this hard; every other tribute made it seem so easy. So natural to them.
Why can't I do that?
I grab another one off of the wall, and this time, I try something different. I spread my legs out more, raise my arm higher, and lower my head when aiming. I add more force to my throw, and as I watch it soar through the air, it actually hits something now.
It's a few inches away from the center, but it's an improvement.
I go to grab another spear, but the station next to me is now occupied by the tributes from District Four. As I watch her through the racks of spears, it doesn't make me feel any better.
I want to be able to do that.
With such natural talent, the girl from four tosses the spear, smirking when it hits bulls-eye. She nods her head, going for another one, and doing the same exact thing. Another bulls-eye.
"I'd like to see you top that," she says, leaning towards the boy from Four. He chuckles. "Oh please, this is too easy."
Prying myself away from the two of them, I go back to my own station. I look at the girl from four's target, and then the boy from four's target, and then back at mine.
I have to do better than that.
I grab another spear, seeing that there aren't that many left on my rack. I try to mimic everything the girl from four was doing, but I look down at myself, knowing that I don't look anything like her. It's worth a try, though.
With one throw, the spear goes hurdling towards the target, and I wince as it hits the target. This time, it's right near the center – even closer than before.
I turn around, smiling to myself, trying to see if anyone saw me do it. But, I look around, realising that I have no one here. It isn't like District five. I don't have my parents or anyone.
I'm on my own now.
I still look around the room, though, getting distracted by other people at their stations.
After making eye contact several times with Atticus as I shift my gaze throughout the room, he stands up, broadens his shoulders, and begins to stride towards me. I turn back around, knowing that he is the first person to approach me so far. The rest of the tributes just seem to stay away. I rarely talk to Atticus because I'm too shy to approach him, but I know that if I had to make an alliance with someone it would be him.
I hear his approaching foot steps behind me, and I turn around slowly, seeing that he's already there. He has a wide smile on his face.
"Could you teach me how to throw a spear if I teach you how to throw a knife and hunt?"
"Sure." I reply in a friendly tone. "So where'd you learn how to hunt?"
"My parents would usually take me to beyond the lines of five. My father taught me how to use and throw a knife at the age of six or seven." He whispers. "My mom taught me how to hunt."
"Oh, isn't that illegal though?" I say, crossing my arms.
"Well, yeah."
Laughing, I turn to the side and grab two spears. I hold one out for him, and he hesitates, grabbing it slowly. I nod my head as he takes it, and with my own spear, I aim. Closing my left eye, I look straight ahead, trying to imitate what I saw the tributes from four do before.
I throw it, and as it lands in the target, it's nowhere near bulls eye or the center.
"I'll have to do better than that," I berate, shaking my head. I grab another one, wanting to redo it. I have to at least try and get closer to the bullseye.
"Are you kidding?" Atticus asks, protruding his head forward as he looks at the target. "That was pretty amazing."
I smile, and as I throw the next spear, this one lands a little close than my last one. Atticus claps his hands together, the spear tip almost hitting his face. He steps up now, throws the spear, and his doesn't make it. It goes behind the target, landing in the cushioned wall.
"That wasn't so amazing." Atticus says, shaking his head.
"I'll help you," I say, patting him on the shoulder. He looks up with a smile now on his face. "Besides, at least you know you can throw it. You just have to aim better."
"You're right," he says. "I just have to aim better."
Atticus grabs a spear, and I latch my hands onto his elbow and arm, pushing them up and down. I make sure he has the right posture and then I push the spear forward. He takes a breath and throws it. It lands into the leg of the target.
"Woah, thanks ally." He says, grabbing another spear, repeating the same posture and motion again.
Ally?
Are we allies?
I let Atticus continue on with the spears, letting me have a moment to assess everything that just happened. He gets it closer and closer to the target after each spear.
"What do you mean by ally?" I ask, placing down my spear back on the rack.
"Don't you want to be allies?" He smirks. "You could join me, the tributes from nine, and the tributes from twelve in an alliance."
"So what do ya say?"
Would I rather go into the arena alone?
I have a higher chance of being killed without allies... or maybe I have a higher chance of surviving without allies? I don't know if I should, I don't know the tributes from nine and twelve that well.
[Train on your own] She should follow their mentors advice, morphing addicts or not. I mean, they did win after all right?
[No] because that crazy bitch from district 12 is in it ;-; oh my god I feel like none of these choices have good outcomes hopefully Atticus respects whatever decision she makes

DISTRICT 11: Valerian
"Lachlan, let him!"
"Lachlan, what are you doing?!"
"Get off me Lach, the kid needs more."
"You fucking asshole!"
[Join in dinner] [Catch up on rest]
[Target the tributes from nine first] [Target the boy from five first] [Target the boy from twelve first]
[Join in dinner] My poor baby Valerian u.u Why people like hurting him?
[Yes] EAT FLAVIA EAT
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH ID WON´T CHOSE IN THE LAST ONE
Awesome Chapter!
And you are an amazing writer!
Who do you think is going to die in the bloodbath , for me:
Frederic , Kyva , Anne , Gustav , Clint , Sophie , and maybe Luke and Lachlan are going to
[Join in dinner]
[Join in dinner] Poor Valerian at least he's fine now ugh I can't wait for Finnegan to die fucking douchebag. I feel like Merona is playing Valerian >.< i don't know anymore.
[Yes] EAT SOME OF MRS PORTIAS DESSERT! This might be your last time you ever taste it!
[Target the tributes from nine first] because I feel like this option would get her killed since she's targetting two tributes instead of one. Sorry district 9 ;-;
I did not left you, ayylmao.
[Join in dinner] What would be the problem? Better to be fed.
[Yes] I see no problem in that too, unless the dessert is poisoned.
[Target the boy from five first] I do not want all my characters dead in the bloodbath, also, Pedro has to develop a better relationship with Sofia.
[Join in dinner] I like the eleven tributes the most
[Yes] Treat yo self
[Target the boy from five first]
[Join in dinner]
[Yes] hell yeah! Even disgusting desert is desert!
[Target the boy from twelve first]
Kyva, Anne, Clint, probably Sophie, and Colt. I don't know about the others though, ugh I'm gonna be such a baby once the games start. ;-;
Yeah , but at least your character is mostly obvioulsy safe from the bloodbath because of being a career.
True that, but I feel really attached to some of the characters and im not ready to let them go
I don't think Lachlan will die.
Yeah , but i think the other careers but want him with them since he tried to stop Finn so u.u
[Join in Dinner]
[Yes] Eat the dessert!
[Target the tributes from nine first] Pretty much what the others said, she should have less of a chance to kill them when targeting two tributes

THE TRAININGS: PART 6
DISTRICT 6: Kyva
[Join Frederic] [Train on your own]
DISTRICT 5: Anne
[Sure] [No]
[Train on your own] She should follow their mentors advice, morphing addicts or not. I mean, they did win after all right?
[No] because that crazy bitch from district 12 is in it ;-; oh my god I feel like none of these choices have good outcomes hopefully Atticus respects whatever decision she makes

[Sure]
Some huge alliance is the stuff I love. However, do I get that right that this crazy bitch Arielle is targeting the people from her alliance first? Damn, I hope she fails horribly with that crazy stuff.
