Bienvenidos al centro de communicacion de todo que sea The Walking Dead!

Para empezar, tengo una pregunta por todos que ven el programa The Walking Dead en España.

En cual canal ves The Walking Dead? En La Sexta? Otro canal? En la computadora? Nos encantaria saber.

Y para los que viven en otras naciones en que hablan Español, en cuales formas ven The Walking Dead?

Lo siento si my Español escrita es terrible - no es mi lengua nativa.

Cualquieras respuestas que tienen serian agradecidas.

    It's good news that Telltale finally seems to be thinking to launch a game in Spanish...
    ...too bad it's one I'm not really interested.
    I would have been insanely happy if this post would have appeared on the ToMI, BttF or JP subforums...

    By the way, I don't see The Walking Dead myself, but I have many friends who see it in La Sexta, many of them also buy the PlanetaDeAgostini comics, and some of them could be very interested on the game.
    If you are planning to launch the game in Spanish, you should contact PlanetaDeAgostini, because they also have a videogame division and they could help with the localization and retail distribution.

    En españa tambien se emite, en la Cadena Fox.. Suele estar en operadores por cable como Ono, o en Operadores de pago por vision como Imagenio, o Digital +..

    Fox es el canal que pasa la serie acá en Argentina. La miro por ahi. Y si me pierdo algún episodio, lo busco online.

    Oh, my god! At last! Now I REALLY love you, Telltale, A LOT! :D


    I watch the show on Fox España (cable channel), but many friends watch it on La Sexta. I also buy the PlanetadeAgostini comics and I agree with Javi-Wan, you should try contact their videogames division, maybe they make the things easier (or help to make a better translation, faithful to the comics).

    Hope this is only the beggining!


    PS: Did I say that I love you, guys? :D

    PPS: If you also make dubbing (a good one) I'll buy two copies, I swear, but I'm fine with good subtitles :)

    Yes, I watch the show on La Sexta AND in the computer. I also buy the comics from Planeta DeAgostini, spanish retailers for the comic series.

    I'm so glad that apparently the game will be in spanish. :D

    The Spanish version will be available to those of us still in the U.S., right? I hate it when companies go to the trouble of translating a game and then only release the translation in Europe. Some of us have lived al extranjero, you know, and we'd like to have some more listening practice.

    ¡Hola Alan! Yo veo The Walking Dead en Fox Latinoamerica. Vivo en México y soy gran fan de Telltale Games, así que sería magnífico ver un juego por fin con subtítulos en español.

    Hey, your Spanish is actually quite decent :) (just a few minor mistakes).
    Just out of curiosity, why are you interested in knowing what TV channel people see the show on? In my case, I don't watch the show, but it's nice to see Telltale getting involved with Spanish localizations ;-)

    Una pregunta: Will there be multiple localizations? (i.e. one for Spain, one for Mexico, etc.) Or just one?

    Subtitulos en español, seguramente, de otra manera este thread tendria poco sentido, y CREO que todas las versiones del juego (PS3, Xbox, PC, etc) son multilenguaje, elegis el idioma en el que queres jugar durante la instalación o en el mismo juego.
    Pero eso es lo que CREO, no lo tomes como algo seguro.

    De momento solo está confirmado en que vendrá en inglés. No han dicho todavía nada en ningún lado de los idiomas a los que traducirán el juego.

    No hay nada confirmado, pero el hecho de que exista este tema en el foro, así como las publicaciones en Facebook en español, casi confirman que tendremos (al menos) subtítulos.

    Desde luego hay esperanzas y eso es lo que parece pero no hay nada oficialmente confirmado.

    hi ,going to get a translation into Spanish of the game? because I speak Spanish and only is in English

    y en español XD , el juego sale en 4 dias y esta en ingles ¿ alguien sabe si se puede traducir o van a sacar traduccion por steam?

    The PC/Mac version won't be launching with Spanish subtitles, but I've been told we'll likely be patching them in very shortly after launch. I haven't been given any information about that possibility for the console versions, however, sorry.

    Spanish is the only thing being worked on at the moment, as far as I'm aware.

    Spanish only?
    The previous games were also in French and German.... is Telltale going backward?!?!?

    I really hope that there will be other languages in future patches.
    I would pay 5$ more for an Italian localization, or at least subtitles.

    This can't be serious! I'm looking forward to the release of the game (it's already pre-ordered) but my english is not very good (i'm from german). "Jurassic Park" and "Back to the future" were Multi Language at Release date. Why is "The Walking Dead" in english only this time? That is really too bad.

    I hope we will get an update with other language files (except english and spanish) soon.

    Anyway without vost IT, GER, FR or the others, the game will make a flope... in any case it is not cool for fans of TWD who do not speak English.

    Sorry but i cancelled my pre order on steam.

    Why i paid for some1 who don't take time to respect me.

    Sorry, this game gonna look REALY beatifull but it's and p&c so dialogue = 90% of the game !
    And if i'm unable to understand the game, i don't play it.

    That's a very bad commercial idea ...

    Wow, the story repeats...

    In Back to the Future forums, when spanish people requested for spanish subtitles, some people laughed on us and said that we need to learn English and some other non-polite stuff. (but here I am, writing in English, it's not perfect but heck, you can understand me). We only asked for spanish subtitles like you now for your language and we receive some answers that's better to forget.

    I've played BTTF in English and I don't have any trouble with understanding it. If you can write a post in English I'm sure you can understand english subtitles from a Telltale game (except, maybe TOMI, I can't understand so good the pirate way of speaking). You will enjoy the game in English, I'm sure.

    Ok, point two:

    I don't think that Spanish will be the ONLY language that Telltale is going to translate. I'm sure that French and German are the next. However, Telltale NEVER has said that they won't translate the game to other languages beside Spanish. Just wait... Translate a title like "The Walking Dead" at many languages as they can worth it for them.


    That's my two cents. ;)

    wait and see ;à) and if no french (or other langage sure) i don't pay it ... or wait some hack.
    Sur the french (or other people !) community make some hack translate ... and that not normal than civilan make for free the work for people who are paid for this work ...

    Hello The Ripper,

    I am French thus I pay for books in French, movies in French and game in French on the other hand I would not buy a game if it has no minimum the vostfr in my case.
    And as regards my post in English fortunately that the site Reverso is there "my english is very bad...", I see not translating all the sentences of the game to understand the history ;p

    Cuando lo lancen sí, estará solo en inglés. Pero han confirmado que están trabajando en el parche para pasarlo a español. De momento es el unico idioma confirmado al que lo van a traducir: el nuestro. :D

    Bah, acuérdate de Back to the Future. Nosotros también presionábamos e incluso recuerdo que posteaban estadísticas de zonas en el mundo donde se hablaba español frente a otros idiomas. Allí también se decía que no iban a comprar el juego.

    Me acuerdo ahora y me rio pero en su momento me mosquée bastante también. :p

    La verdad es que casi se me hace raro que lo saquen en español después de tanto tiempo. Yo llevo aquí desde los Sam & Max y nunca había manera... En un principio comenzaron a traducir los Bone (si desencriptas algunos archivos del juego hay diálogos en español :confused: ) pero al final pararon la traducción porque habían vendido los derechos de explotación en europa a nosequé compañía que aquí en españa no sacó nada...
    Luego con los Sam & Max tres cuartos de lo mismo, aquí tuvimos en español el primero (los de JoWood dijeron en un principio que vendría doblado pero luego se echaron atrás) y el segundo se editó con subtitulos en español... pero no en españa, sólo en italia y otros paises. Del tercero no hay noticias.
    Wallace & Gromit ha sido el único juego de Telltale con subtítulos oficiales en español (por exigencias de Microsoft, según tengo entendido) que de hecho fue el primer juego que compré aquí.
    A partir de ahí todo siguió igual hasta Back to the Future y Jurassic Park, que contaron con alemán y francés, pero de español nada...
    No sé qué les ha motivado a traducir Walking Dead, si es un experimento a ver si aumentan las ventas o es que hay un mercado muy grande de los cómics/serie en España... Ni idea, pero no voy a quejarme.

    Bueno, puedo leer un poco de español. Y a mi, me gusta que el WDead sea en portugues tambíen pero sei que es case imposible.
