I'm really excited for this one, more than any of the others, because putting Guybrush on trial is sure to make for some exciting and dramatic developments! I hope we get a lot of emotional moments in this next installment, with Guybrush having to deal with imprisonment and possible death, Morgan having to deal with betraying her hero, Elaine and LeChuck's reactions (if they return to Flotsam in time...)
Should be pretty great!
I think Elaine will run away with LeChuck at the end, so Guybrush will have to hunt them down in the last episode and "restore" LeChuck as a Zombie-pirate to win her back....

Been playing thru S&M season 1, there's a moment where the mafia guy says that and I was wondering if it was an intentional reference to Princess Bride, his voice sounds kind of similar?
I hope that the episode begins with Guybrush and Winslow tied up in the ship's quarters. Just so that we have another environment (no matter how small it may be).
I think the next chapter will be be where everyone's allegiance and intentions are shown, a sort of setup for chapter five. I can't imagine them drawing out the whole LeChuck thing beyond the next chapter, otherwise chapter five will be very crowded story wise. The fifth will be the conclusion of what happens in chapter four just as the first two chapters were setting up the story and introducing all the principal characters while chapter three was about the emotional and romantic aspects of the story and characters.
Hmmm... a bit too silent.
I'm expecting another great chapter (but not as good as the #3) and I am expecting it on Halloween. I don't know why but it seems a proper day in October.

You'll probably have loads of annoying little turds throwing eggs at your house and knocking on your door asking for junkfood, hehe!
So how you think Guybrush will be executed? Is there gonna be fair trial or will Le Docteur bribe the jury to get Guybrush's body for his experiments?
I'm gonna say there will be no hanging, that's too traditional.
We already saw the amputation device in Ch. 1 so the doc might have something bigger up his sleeve.
Or it could be just a simple firing squad or a lethal injection of some voodoo-schmoodoo. Hopefully they've come up with something more interesting and unimaginable to preserve the excitement
This might be Close, Sentenced to Lethal Injection. The difference is the Marque will shoot him up with the Pox KILLING him, but turning him into an Unstoppable Zombie Pirate God, and then LeChuck Gets Elane! That was the Plan all along, LeChucked just used Guybrush and the Marque to get the sponge so what he does cannot be undone.
I would like to see her hair or skin start to decay and her teeth turn dark, The pox did more than just turn LeChuck green, it made his beard green and glow and his fingers long and claw-like. Very zombie-like actually. So far the people have just been turning green and having red eyes.
Tales of Monkey Island The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood
Who knows what happens in the next chapter of Tales of Monkey Island? Until we put out a little more information, feel free to discuss and speculate in this thread. For now, how about the most important question you guys seem to have...
Do you have an official release date?
Not yet. When we have a date to announce, we'll post it right here in this thread, and on the blog (like we always do). Until then, "October" will have to suffice I'm sorry to say!
Maybe my bad english is not letting me to understand something xD
I ask again: Will this chapter be harder o longer?
Must resist... Er... -twitch twitch-
That'll only be known when it comes out.
"That's what she said
1. Used to add sexual innuendo to a conversation.
2. When a male wants to share with his friends that he was with a girl (whether her was or not), he will respond to a phrase that sets up "that's what she said..." as funny or sexual.
3. To imply that what is being talked about was actually a sexual statement and that a girl agreed to said statement in the recent past."

Yeah, I think because Harry Moleman's voice does kind of sound like Wallace Shawn (it's not him, though), they deliberately put in that line as a nice sly reference to the Princess Bride
Same voice actor played Nipperkin and one of the other pirates in "Launch of the Screaming Narwhal". You can probably tell, because they kind of sound like Harry Moleman

That's what she said.
Or in three second, i guess.
You guys totally beat me to it. I was sorely tempted.
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID ah damnit.

So you're saying that you dislike her now? And that if she ran off with LeChuck you would dislike her less? As in you would then like her more?
INCONCEIVABLE!
Edited for being very slow.
LOL whoops I typed that wrong

To tease us with utter perplexion (..is that even a word?), Telltale have released some awesome concept art for the episode.
Thanks to mixnmojo.com!
Because some of them are pretty spoilerific, I have put them in url-links!
(I'm sorry if these has already been posted btw..)

Anywhere from 5 to 7!
Edit: Disregard my previous spoiler tag, someone edited their post to include the UrbanDictionary definition(s)
And that concept art
That is
Awesome thanks, I still need to start on that whole thing ^.^

Pardon my ignorance, but by playing the treasure hunt,
I haven't really bothered with the treasure hunt, but if I can actually enter Club 41 and walk around I might do it.
Thanks!
Its actually a flash file wich also introduce some music and the other concepts.
