  • That's weird.
Was Carol in the comics always like that?
    That unhinged?

Yes. Walks straight into it's mouth. Last words: "Oh good. You do like me!"

  • Yeah. The TV show Carol is pretty much Andrea. And TV Andrea is terrible.

Molly and Jane would be a perfect couple.

  • No I don't think it's necessary

  • if you hate the ending and would like to see a continuation, you could try out my fanfic. In it, Inori comes back. And it's not even a complete asspull. I put in a lot of effort to let it make sense.

Yeah but the ending sucked a little. I mean Inori - dead Shu - Blind

  • I don't believe Doug was Gay, just really bad with women.

I'm not saying he was gay. I'm saying he MIGHT have liked Lee thanks to certain looks or things he said. This is just my thought.

  • How could you miss it, they pretty much held it over your face, and said MY PARTNER like ten times.

Walter and Mathew, they are implied to be in a relationship, but it's so subtle that most people would miss it.

    NO!

  • Doesn't the Gay/lesbian community have a big enough voice in Hollywood... I don't understand why it should be in this game as well. Why would someone's sexual pref matter in a ZA story? I thought they did a good job with Matt/Walt. However, there are a lot of minority groups why should Gay/lesbian take preference over for PTSD Veterans, OCD person, or whatever you can think of. Whatever, I think everyone has a grasp on the concept of what being gay is, now i think it would be interesting and encouraging if they created characters with new problems.

Why not a individual with Savant syndrome Source

  • People ignore what they don't want to see.

    Batman/Robin thing going on perhaps!

San Francisco, during a ZA, they could represent just about everyone!

I think seeing the Village People as zombies would be funny as hell!

Why don't we have orcs and elves too? We miss some fantasy races in TWD. Oh and talking animals. Sam could talk bould he rather barked. TOTALLY SERIOUS POST!

  • I mean, people argue that sexual preference isn't important, but then we get extensive subplots about Lee flirting with Carley and the whole Alvin/Rebecca/Carver thing, Luke sleeping with Jane but also apparently having a thing with Bonnie.. Saying that it isn't important to the story or that they "don't have time" for that is null and void when there's tons of straight couples running amok through the plot. Don't see why a major character that's gay would be a problem.

  • extensive subplots

There really wernt, Lee flirting with Carley is optional and purely up to the player. The Alvin/Rebecca/Carver thing was barely explored as was the crap with Jane,Luke and Bonnie. Its just hinted at.

Also again gay people are a minority there's less of them and therefore going to be less in the game, I just dont see the need to force
charcaters in purely for representation. And honestly it was a three way thing with Alvin Rebecca/Carver and a rape suggestion in there too and added to the pregnancy part. The Luke and Jane stuff was the only pointless addition in terms of romance where its investigated even slightly.

  • Maybe they should just... not mention sexuality, or at least not confirm sexualities for every character. It was never confirmed Kenny was straight, for example. Sure he liked Kat and Sarita, but he could've been bi/pan or any other sexuality that involves a boy liking a girl. I still think they should have a boy/boy couple or a girl/girl couple though, just not make their actual sexuality a big deal.

  • If we're gonna focus on sexuality in a game about zombies i quit

  • Being Gay does not have to be a definable trait in a character. This isn't Family Guy or South Park where a character can be played up to be "the gay one." Just like being straight shouldn't define an entire character's identity.

Everyone wants representation so bad they get short-sided and just want a character to be "the gay one." But that's not fair representation, that's called pandering.

  • I don't understand why you people insist that every game/show/movie/work of fiction has to include every single form of minority or orientation or be viewed as racist or exclusive.

  • I kinda want to meet a woman who wears a hijab next season. And no this isn't a, "We need every minority and sexual orientation!" plea. I just think it'd be cool. Sorry if I revived this thread.

I think you should be able to determine Clem's sexuality in S3. Like Clem meets a group in S3 with kids her age and you could either start a determinant relationship with a boy or a girl in that group.

  • i was told that jane is having lukes baby. god damnit. they should have asked glenn for some condoms. now they've got a demon spawn on their hands.

    UnclePete posted: »

Jane is a lesbian according to TWD wiki. She gave up on men after the Luke incident. Good thing she now has Clem on her side im my playthrough.

  • Giving players the ability to choose Clementine's sexual orientation would have some unfortunate implications that I'm not sure LGBT advocates would appreciate...

  • As long as Telltale feels comfortable writing a character like that, and they can find a way to not make that one thing their defining characteristic, then I think it's a good idea. Otherwise, it'll just be a half-baked token character that just feels randomly thrown in. No one is happy when that happens.

  • What a shallow way to base someone's personality. Do you judge LGBT people in real life like this? Sounds like this would just be a blatant attempt at "look at how orientation comfortable we are!" Why is the gaming industry getting so pussy-whipped by these ridiculous ideological extremists? S2 was already riddled with gag-inducing "girl power", please Telltale don't fall for the bully tactics of these fascists lurking around the gaming industry these days.

I agree, about the LGBT community having enough power in Hollywood.
Why should they get more special treatment?
And why does their sexuality seem to dictate special treatment in the first place?

What about the brave men, who fought for this country?
They went over and fought for America's freedom.
But when they get home, many suffering from PTSD, everyone seems to sweep them under the rug.
Why not give those guys more recognition?
The ones who came home, left the military, and whom society; especially the Government, seem all to happy to forget.

Why give recognition to the homosexual community, based on their sexuality?
Why does their being homosexual, make them seemingly more important than Military Veterans, or members on the Police Force, Fire Department, etc?
It seems to me, that people who serve others, and who put their lives on the line for the wellfair and safety of other people, are the ones who deserve recognition.
Not those of a certain sexual orientation.

What do you mean their lifestyle and how to choose their lives? If people chose to live their lives like it, they wouldn't kil themselves for it.

And since when was supporting traditional marriage and supporting gay marriage mutually exclusive?

I support religious men marrying religious women, non religious men marrying non-religious women, any two people who love each other marrying each other.

I support both 'traditional' marriage and gay marriage.

And I'm sorry, but anyone who disagrees with the homosexual 'lifestyle' IS a homophobe, because no homosexual lifestyle exists out of just being gay.
