I like how they have to carefully skirt around the idea of using the mug for alcohol.

Yeah, but I see it more as a collectible; a piece of MI memorabilia, rather than an actual drinking glass.

that's stupid. cups are for drinking. I stole a starbucks espresso tiny mug from Kuala Lumpur and as soon as I got home I used it for tiny beverages. It has a sticky residue in the bottom now, I'll have to show you guys.

I dunno. I'm guessing the mugs in the SCUMM bar have been spit-washed countless times, and those still dissolve as if they were made of sugar cubes. No, no container can resist the corrosive properties of Grog for an extended amount of time.
That could also be because there are trace amounts of grog in the spit used for cleaning. So cleaning the mug with spit would actually make the mug weaker.
That would be less of a problem for people buying Telltale's mug. Unless they want to try out Grog XD :p

Grog XD tastes like shit. It just made me gag.

Me and a friend had it before heading out to a nightclub. That was a fun night.... We just felt sick the whole night.

At most 21 20 19 more days for them to start shipping by the end of Spring.

    Yeah, it totally sucks.

    I'll find a new house/car. Don't worry.

Thank god the Telltale goods were delayed. I would have had those posters hung up in my house/car, and they would have been obliterated in the crash.

    Telltale failness for the win!

They stated upfront it was a pre-order, meaning you pay now but you get the product later.

Also, they've confirmed the items will ship late May.

EDIT: Also, please use the forum search next time. There are plenty of topics about the same subject already.

So it has been shipped by now?

Yes, but Telltale forgot to say it. and the couriers are bringing it on foot. and they don't have a map. And they have a really bad sense of direction. And they are too shy to ask for directions. They probably will still take a while to get to us, we just have to be patient.

I'm a pretty patient guy, but this DVD thing is officially an epic fail on Telltale's part. I'm fairly annoyed at this point.

It is getting a little bit ridiculous

well, it takes longer than they expected to cram this much awesomeness onto a disc and onto cards and such. I'm sure they have to bend the laws of physics or something for that.

but i'm still slightly annoyed though

Haha, that's what I thought when I first saw it. I think it's just for fun and ha-ha's; thrown in there to make people think 'what the hell?'.

Well... that too, I guess. It looks like quite a cool/cute dog. Who does it belong to anyway, is it a Telltale employee's?
